zweitliebe.de homepage redesign
A redesign of the zweitliebe.de homepage, built inside the store's paid third-party Shopify theme rather than a fork: the new content lives in JSON template settings, Shopify-generated theme blocks, one custom reviews section and a separate custom.css. The homepage combines search-led hero, link-grid and column sections with featured collections, a banner and a restyled FAQ, and later edits touched the collection page and product card. Judging by the non-theme files and their dates, my own work appears to be the reviews section, the generated blocks, the CSS overrides and those later edits; the rest is the theme's code.

What it does
- Homepage of 17 sections, including six block-based sections.
- Search hero, search with icons, a 10-column link grid and three- and five-column sections.
- Custom reviews carousel with star ratings.
- Restyled FAQ accordion, help-center button and hero image sizing.
- Collection page and product card edits.
How it is built
- No fork and no build step: the redesign lives inside the commercial theme's section and block system, as JSON template settings, generated theme blocks and one custom section, with overrides in a separate custom.css.
Decisions
- Extend the paid theme through sections, blocks and a separate stylesheet rather than editing or forking theme code.
